"Great car, sick of rain water leaking in"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Prior to purchasing, Trani was fixed, Rotors, Fuel tank.

Problem with A/C, have a leak somewhere.

Driver side window regulator bad, needs to be replaced.

Head gasket starting to go, high mileage so was expected.

Have a water leak problem, rain water leaks into the back seats, on the floor (yet to determine where it is coming from), also have some in driver seat, coming through firewall for that one.

General comments?

Decent car, way better than the Saturn I had (engine died at 50000km)

Fast, reliable, handling is great.

I too have a 1994 Olds Achieva with rain water leaking in somewhere from behind the firewall. I haven't had a chance to remove the air intake cowling below the windshield to see where the leak is. A windshield installer told me that it is common for the 'heater box' to leak and often needs only to be caulked to seal it. I hope this works. I will try to update when I have a chance to get into it.

The water is also leaking in my vehicle; however it is isolated to the rear drivers side seat. I found that after opening the door after a rain storm and looking at the rubber seal (on the top of the door frame).. it wasnt very effective. I could see the trail the water had left a path amongst the dust. The water wasnt significant enough for me to attempt to seal it. I figured since I never sat in the back seat... it wasn't a big deal.
