1995 Nissan Skyline R33 V-Spec from UK and Ireland - Comments

I bought from a local garage who tune and repair Skylines and Sunny GTIr's.

They look after the famous Screaming Lemon Skyline with 1000 bhp.

My car as with I believe most Skylines has an induction kit, stainless exhaust without a CAT(tisk tisk) and the obligatory chip. So at least 350 bhp on tap. It is a frightening car to start with but as you become more confident you look for more demandng corners. The biggest problem is finding a good bit of road without attracting the boys in blue.

What is the general cost of a GTR in US currency?

I own a 96 r33 series 2 dream machine great driving, but the sound system needs attention. Very expencive when you want to start playing with anything on it, but what ever you spend will be noticed through looks or performance as stock 0-100km was about 6 sec, but I've got that down to about 4 and a half after about au$7,000 including a few body mods in that price config the car right and say good bye to the cops on the freeway, but think a second time on corners its great, but not that great.

Other than that if you can afford the fuel at 300km a tank for city and about 400-470 freeway you know what to get.

Frankley I would have to disagree with the last comment skylines iron out corners due to a constantly variable 4wd system and all wheel steering. I would question wether the guy who wrote this had a GTR or a rear wheel drive GTS-T. For a car of its weight the skyline corners like a dream.

Hi I recently imported an r33 gtr with 370 bhp from Japan. my problem is I need new rubber on the back wheels (size 265/35/18) but I don't know the correct toe in, toe out, camber etc for the wheels and any company I go to hasn't a clue either as r33 skylines were never sold in europe (I am from dublin) can anyone help me?

A std R33 GTR is supposed to do 0-100 in about 4.9 seconds, I strongly think you know nothing about GTR's or even any turbocharged car... plus as ALL GTR's are 4 wheel drive and all skylines are 4 wheels steer, I find it hard to believe anyone can say that they corner badly, BECAUSE TRUTH IS THEY CORNER AMAZINGLY!
