1994 Alfa Romeo 164 Twin Spark from UK and Ireland - Comments

"Get lucky with a good one and heaven awaits"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The right indicator has gone wrong 5 times, has been replaced and has spent 2 months in a garage! without success - am I the only one (any suggestions please?), lights have gone twice, electric window has been replaced (twice - same one), clutch replaced, oil warning light faulty, brakes replaced, ...all in 3 months.

General comments?

I love the Alfa 164 but the electrics are a nightmare and changing a front light bulb is stupidly awkward. Handling is too light for a car this big and with so much power it can be scary on sudden stops.... but it looks gorgeous.

My 1993 164 TS is 264k and except for elecrtical problems - it rides like a new one. its engain is powerful and lively - and I hade to replace the cluch after 235K!

The auto climet sistem stil functions well, but the fan and heating radiator had to be replaced and the LCD dont work since 2003.

I really enjoy owning a car worth only 500$ but performing like a 5000$ car.
