"Chevy should be ashamed of this"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Let the games begin:

1999-The on-board compass/computer goes dead.

2001-A/C Unit overhauled-$900.

2003-Ignition wire/coil replaced and other engine work performed to correct "service engine " problem-$1200.

2004-Service engine problem resurfaces, causing me to fail the emissions test due to a manufacturer specific code (code #1870) which relates to transmission slippage. Had problem corrected this morning by having a local mechanic reset the computer, but he states that if it fails emissions test again, it may be the sign of a much larger problem.

Oh..before I forget... The power trunk will not open and my wipers and the wiper fluid sprayer are all dead...

Never again!!! This will be gone by month's end!!!

General comments?

The Blazer is a decent enough truck, but it is a bear to maintain once your warranty expires and when you deal with incompetent dealers.

Check your fuses and see if they are blown.
