2004 Toyota Kluger CV from Australia and New Zealand - Comments

"Good"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Vehicle compares well with quality of finish to the Subaru Forester However on our first long run on two lane roads the vehicle exhibits a very choppy or bouncy ride when run over 70kph with only two occupants. In other words the vehicle feels like a truck compared to the Forester.

General comments?

A better vehicle than a 4 cylinder CRV.

The tyre pressure may be the problem with the reported ride problem. I own a CV and if the tyre pressure is raised above the recommended cold inflation pressure the ride becomes "bouncy" and choppy. This happened after a service and with a test drive prior to purchase. Correcting the tyre pressure solved the problem and restored the silky ride we are used to.
