The muffler has to be replaced.

Conditioned air no longer work.
The most amazing thing with this car is winter handling. In the snow the car runs steady and evenly. The balance between sensing the road and comfort is perfect. The interior comfort is great too. It's warm, cozy and practical. A lot of dials and indicator makes it easier to monitor the oil pressure, alternator and coolant temperature. The Delco sound system is very good as always. All parts can be easily found and replaced from a scrap yard at a ridiculous cost.
You say that you'll not be able to not be able to buy that car again someday. Well, if you keep the rust off of it, and maintain it religiously, you can probably drive it longer than you think! I see you drive it in the winter (and probably through salt), so rust proofing is a must. Try Krown Rust Control- they're the best in Canada (I'm guessing you're in or near Canada), giving a lifetime warranty for new cars if you go every year. If your car is too rusty, maybe you could find a nice rust free Southern one? I have a friend who had an '89 Celebrity (similar to yours) and drove it till about 350 000 km! Good luck!
I fully agree with you about winter handling. I used to own the same car,i put some mud and snow tires on that baby and boy I felt like a street cleaner because no amount of snow held me back. it was an amazing car best first car to own for sure. It'll save you a lot of money.
