1996 Renault Laguna RT from UK and Ireland - Comments

"A very underrated motor."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I have had to replace the the front brake disc's at 71000 miles.

The rear brake cylinders were replaced at 65000 miles following a leak.

General comments?

This car is the most comfortable car I have ever owned.

It has never once failed to start first time.

The engine still sounds brand new even after towing a caravan for several thousand miles without any difficulty.

Agreed with most of the comments made here. I too had to replace front discs at 78,000 miles. I have been using the car for the 2nd year now. Never failed to start at the first attempt.

Very comfortable, easy to handle and spacious car. Have been moving home a year ago and it could move all my stuffs in 2 trips :)

Few problems I see with this car is, hard to change gears at still (quite OK on the move). One told me it is native to Laguna's gear shift linkage (s). Body under the front bumper corroded.
