Water pump had to be replaced three times.
Headliner required replacement.
Heater core required replacement.
Had to replace CV joints.
Car would go from point A to B and started readily, even in cold weather.
This car rarely passed a gas station it didn't like. I thought the gas mileage was terrible.
It was an OK car, but I wouldn't buy another one. My kids hated it and thought it lacked style.
You had a AMC Pacer before and your kids hated the Celebrity?
You truly are an idiot. How could you write such a negative review about such a great car? I owned an 1986 Celebrity Sedan... and the only reason I sold it was to buy a 1988 Celebrity Wagon!
So PLEASE... keep you non-sense to yourself... and leave commenting to people who are intelligent enough to own a car such as a Celebrity.
I truly agree with the comment made stating that you are an idiot! What you have done is bought a lemon, and you were taken for a ride! We have a 1986 Celebrity, mileage-350 000, and still running strong. We've had it for the last 8 years and besides minor maintenance we've had no problems at all! I suggest that you do your research before you buy another car!
