"A very expensive problem.."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Engine would vibrate on startup and engine would stall at stop signs. Dealer reprogrammed idle control module. It is now doing it again... see what happens this time.

Air conditioner clutch is squealing pretty loud.

Left driver side body side molding almost fell off.

Rear hatch door had to have the weather stripping re-installed since it was installed incorrectly in the first place.

CD player skips and resets all by itself.

General comments?

Comfortable vehicle and nice to drive.

Sad thing is that it only has 4000 miles and will going to the dealership for the 4th time with multiple problems every visit.

You titled your review "a very expensive problem", yet since you have only 4000 miles on the vehicle, it should be covered under warranty...I'm confused.

Well, a lot of people don't know what V stands for.

Folks: V comes from the shape of the engine. The pistons are lined up 3 by 3 and run on the same crank shaft forming the V shape.

In line would mean pistons line up all in one line. Hence "6 in line"...

2004 Traiblazer. Nothing but problems. Within the first year my TB was in the shop 12 times, mostly for front end work. The dealer replaced many parts, but could never find the the solution to the constant noise. It sounded like something ready to fall off. If you have ever been on an old bus then you would know what this noise sounds like. Other problems were the bumper was missing many snaps and was about to fall off. The 2nd day I had the car (leased new) water was leaking around the brake pedal, another 2 trips to the shop to fix that. Rear stabilizer, hood latch, front shock, and both front stabilizers were all replaced. I have filed a lemon law complaint and hope someday to rid myself of the junk.

We had an '03 TB and our front end noise was failed tie rod ends at 30K miles. You better get a second opinion on yours because we were told it would crash if one had decided to let go and they wouldn't let me leave before they were replaced due to the possible legal repercussions. We traded it after that because they seem to wear out extremely fast and I never felt safe again in it.

We are very disappointed with our 2004 trailblazer. The cup holders in the back are not tall enough and flip our drinks every time we make a turn. We have replaced two window motors (at our cost), we cannot have a cup in the front holder and plug in a cell phone to charge, due to location. When traveling we find it almost impossible to read a map due to the interior lights being located just above the windows! The interior armrest pops open all the time, very annoying! The air condition vents will not throw air, we were told this will be very expensive to fix by summer so we can have air. We traded a 1996 Blazer in on this one and within weeks wished we had it back, now have an enormous car payment and very unhappy!

I have a 2005 trailblazer and it has had 6 different problems with only 14000 miles.. yes it is under warranty, but why should a brand new truck costing almost 30000 be serviced monthly or twice a month??? very disappointed.

I have an 04 TB ext and have had the thermostat wire replaced 4X and have an issue with it starting that has been unable to be diagnosed. This car is a big headache!

I have an '04 ext V8 and have had no problems except erratic a/c performance. I am interested in why you had to replace the thermostat wire 4x. Thanks!
