The engine light came on repeatedly with in the first 100 miles of operation. This was taken care of after much hassle with the dealer and Chrysler. An engineer was assigned to my specific case and the problem was solved after about 2 weeks.
With in the first 10,000 miles the air conditioner leaked out all of the refrigerant from a section of tube that had wore a hole due to vibration. The warranty covered this item and was repaired.
At approx. 30,000 miles I received a recall notice and took my truck in to the dealer. After the dealer had my truck for 4 business days and a weekend. I was told that the recall did not apply to my vehicle. I blame Chrysler and the dealer for the inconvenience.
The brakes on this vehicle have lasted 60,000 miles before being replaced. I only had to replace the pads and not the rotors. I would call this a miracle due to the fact that I tow quite often with this vehicle.
Some small cosmetic things have occurred with interior items on the truck, but it is still quite "livable".
This vehicle has pleased me very much as I get great fuel economy and good torque for towing and pulling big loads.
I have had no major problems with the vehicle and would definitely recommend the vehicle for someone who needs dependable work horse.
My truck was a little on the expensive side, but well worth it to me. It has many bells and whistles that I paid for that I rarely need. (mirror defrosters on a California vehicle)
If you received a recall notice, that would mean the recall DID apply to your truck.
