"Absolutely brilliant!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Absolutely nothing. OK, I just got it!! I know!!

General comments?

I've never had so many women in my life! Mind you I'm a 25 year old millionaire and handsome to boot! I have my choice of any car, and I chose this one! What a machine.

I think that a millionaire and handsome to boot as you put it should have an Aston Martin Vantage. I think it would be more appropriate, although I am a millonaire and probably better looking than you, I've got a Ferrari 550.

Marranello!!!

I think the person in comment 2 is truthful and the original post is written by a dreamer.

If you had millions you would choose far more first than a BMW M3, sure I would have one in my garage block but wouldn't use it for chasing women. They wouldn't believe the 'millionaire' bit.

The TVR or Bentley convertible would be used for that. The M3 would come out on sunny days for a little country blast fun!

Dear 25 year-old M3 driving millionaire.

Please stop holding me up on the autobahns and country lanes on my way to work, and stop ogling & almost running over my 18 year old supermodel girlfriend every time she tries to get into my car.

Yours sincerely.

So, boasting seems to be the order of the day, well, here goes.

I am 18 years old and a full time student. My p/t tele-sales job earns me £45 a week and I drive a high mileage Suzuki Vitara that cost me half as much as its insurance. Its filthy inside and out, has copious amounts of rust on the wheel arches and the other day I bent both doors so they do not close properly after taking of on a small bridge.

I dream of owning any of the cars you speak of, one day maybe I will. If and when that day comes though I will have a lot better things to do with my time than sitting at my computer and boasting about it. There, that put you in your places, why has modesty escaped you?

I do agree with the last Suzuki driver (they make cars?) but to the 25 and under millionaires out there, I am 20. I live in Florida, USA. And I am hell bent on becoming a millionaire before age 25. Please, what is your secret... the word "protege" comes to mind. Please reply: DatICEYcat@aol.com

By the way, I just went from a 1997 Lexus ES 300 to the 2001 BMW 330 coupe...breathtaking, to say the least.

Well, I guess all guys were born lucky.

I am not a $$million. I'm driving a 1983 Toyota Tercel with over 150,000 miles.

All I care is that she still run good and I pretty sure all your expensive cars will never make it to their 100,00 miles.

Expensive cars will either break down before reaching the 100K mile or sit in the garage with extremely low milage...

I certainly appreciate any reliable car, old or new, cheap or expensive.

However, the idea that more pricey cars won't last is very false.

JD Power just determined Lexus, Cadillac, and Audi to be the 3 most reliable 1992 manufacturers based on a survey of 21,000 original owners. All of them luxury cars.

http://detnews.com/AUTOS/industry/970326/depend/depend.htm

I have owned several Audis, none newer than 1990, and not only do I love them, they've treated me awesome, and affordably (used parts are the key to cost).

Initial cost is more on these cars, but often, (not always) enough more effort, precision, and quality has been put in them that they really are cheaper in the long run.

Older Audis (get a good one) can be very very affordable to buy and maintain, very safe in a wreck, and a great drive.

Asian cars are great for reliability, but all I ever want is German.

I've owned Benz, Porsche, Audi.

No disrespect to BMW, they've clearly earned their rep.

I wonder why you need to let everyone know that "you are a millionaire and handsome to boot", oh, and you drive a M3 and it's great. Sorry, I thought this fantastic (free) service was offered so that people could air their grievances or, shout from the roof tops how impressed they are about their vehicle, for the benefit of others. I would suggest that perhaps you retain your column writing skills for Penthouse forum.

Dear all, quite interesting this millionaire talk.

If was was a millionaire.. maybe I am.. and who knows handsome as well.., I would keep my BMW E30 1.8 running on propane.

Quite a nice car.. I would say undestructible if you run it on propane..

... amazing is that I can do by myself all the maintenance..it gives me a great pleasure. If I had your car.. only a BMW dealer could do it.. due to the necessary electronic equipment for checking.

About the Ferrari.. well if you want problems go for it... why not try a Honda NSX?

That's a good option for sure...

Just try.. and you will see no other car can compare.. not even the McLaren F1.

You will have the drivability of a everyday car... like Honda Civic... very smooth... the power and handling of a true sport car.. and the best reliability you can get from a Japanese car...

Only the ones who have driven it before know what I'm talking about..

Dear oh dear, what have we here. After carefully considered research into a car that I'm really looking forward to owning - 97 M3 evo conv 6 speed I come across this piece. I ponder: Do I really want to be considered in the same vain as Mr Millionaire - I doubt this is the case tho and I bet he's ugly! I would however like to own a car capable of reaching 60 quicker than a Porsche Boxster S and that will cost £10,000 less as a used buy.

Cars my friends are something to work hard for and to be proud of. Millionaires should not bother with forums because they should not really care!!!

Before you can love, you must be able to love yourself first. But preferably kept to one self.

As for being rich or not, that is not the important factor in purchasing a car or a dream car. I love cars, all sorts in fact, especially the sporty kind. Its what sometimes helps to define a person or just something that puts a smile to your face. Personally I'm not rich nor poor, although I do find it difficult to let go of the hard earned for something that depreciates far too quickly. Therefore I have owned a few porsches, Audi's, merc's, Subaru STI. All were 10 years old or older, where affordability and depreciation are not big factor's.

Currently I'm looking for a 1998-2000 BMW M3. With all the reviews I have read so far, it would seem the car meets my expectations.

Happy driving :)
