Fabric interior is prone to easy wear and tear.
Dash easily scuffed.
Expensive for its size.
Speedo slightly under reads speed.
Very economical 4.5L/100kms.
Silent to quiet running at slow speeds.
Good pick up from standing start.
Cruise control maintains speed on freeway with few surges.
As a owner of a 2004 Prius. I have to say that it's the best car I have ever owned. In Wisconsin winter I'm getting about 43 MPG. Last summer I was getting about 50 MPG. Will most likely not get the 60 MPG for city driving. But getting 50 MPG is possible with the car. What will kill your gas mileage is high speed driving 70 mph or faster, and jackrabbit starts.
I have owned my Toyota Prius for 2 years from new.
The bad: Interior is plain and boring and is does NOT ware well, in fact the interior can only be explained as "cheap"
The good: fuel efficient, great city runner and keeps the fuel bucks in your pocket not the oil barons bank.
The future; Please please Mr Toyota fix the interior for future modals.
