Left rear shock absorber need to be replaced at 45000km.
Left rear door handle broke at 20000km
Noise from lower part of dashboard.
Proton just managed to fix it after my 3rd complaint.
Handling is good especially at cornering and overtaking.
Good performance at mid range rpm
(2500 - 3500)
However need more attention should be given on the interior furnishing.
After reading about having careful attention to the internals of the Waja, sorry to say that it's not that they don't want to pay attention to it, just that they're too cheap to produce better quality interior. Even the old Wira's had better quality interiors. The logic is that Proton is trying to get more money but minimising costs. If you think that's not true then look at each of the proton models. They can do better, but won't.
I myself also own waja 1.6 auto since 2002. I can tell I will never suggest my friend to waja again. I try to sell my car at very low price. Because last time I oder air-con switch, I wait for 1/2 year.
