Clutch and 2nd syncromesh replaced at 100 000.
Front drive seat started to wear badly at 180 000.
Very comfortable, never broken down on the road.
0 oil consumption even at 250 000 km
extremely confortable

Engine develop a very good torque at low revs.
Beautiful Pininfarina design.
I have only ever seen Peugeot 305s in sedan form in Europe, and I personally think they are hideous-not one of Pininfarina's best designs.
Beauty may be in the eyes of the beholder, I think they're beautiful cars, like a baby 505 sedan. Not that many cars of that size looked as interesting during those years.
I think that those kind of car are very elegant, very smooth, I think that the previous comment's writer had not so much taste about car design...
