"A cheap beater"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

So, far the car has a squeaking sound coming from the belts when I start the car. No big deal.

However, a major problem is the shudder that occurs if I floor it at about 10mph on the speedometer, the car will shudder for half a second.

When cruising on freeway, it feels like it is hovering, needs new shocks.

General comments?

Overall this car is for someone who has no other choice, but to take the car. the car is alright if you don't want to go on long trips, but otherwise it will take to long to get there because it tops out at around 90mph, maybe a little bit more.

This car handles horribly, definitely no sports car at all. At highway speeds it feels like its bouncy and hovering.

The worst part about this car is the fact that is doesn't have enough power, and it doesn't get very good gas mileage.

If the car had a five speed, it would probably be OK. But in my opinion I would not buy this car. the only reason I'm driving this car is because My friend's grandma gave it to me.

On the other hand it is very durable, it beat the crap out of it rallying it on some logging roads and it still drives the same.

However, there are plenty of other better cars out there that a person can buy for a thousand bucks, or however much the car is worth.

You mention this, then you complain about the bad ride and the shuddering when you floor it? You abused it, so you got when you had coming.
