Iv changed the factory air filter to a High performance filter. Increase in 12Hp.
Car handles extremely bad with tyre widths to factory standard.

However the guard's needed to be rolled out.
A Two and a half Inch straight through exhaust, 4 Inch tip with header's and manifold gained 17Hp.
Factory seat's are wearing out, but provide good " Bucket style " comfort and a sport'y feel.
Iv modified the car with the following extras:
35% Dark Black tints.
Interchangable undercar neon lighting.
Short shift kit.
Two gauges, piller mounted.
Full sound system consisting of, Two 12" Subwoofers enclosed in the trunk.
Two 6x9" Speakers in the rear parcel tray.
Two 6" front door speaker's, (This needed modification's done to the door)
MP3/CD/DVD/VCD/MPEG Head controller system with two remote's.
One 8" Tv monitor mounted in the overhead tray.
Four pot caliper's and drilled brake rotor's. (The factory brake's are very weak and smell after frequent heavy braking situation's)
Full bodykit.
Coilover suspension.
The car certainly turns heads and it has been entered in many Auto shows.
Most recent Dyno run sent out 148Hp, 36Hp more than the factory output.
The Paseo or Cynos as known to the Japanese version is capable of mass Horsepower upgrade's and I have found the reliability of mine and availability is very well catered for.
The 5EFE engine can be fitted with a turbocharger and can put out 300Hp at the front wheels running the turbo on 6Psi.
There is also a Four wheel drive kit available which comes factory in 1995 and later model 1.3L engines.
These can fit any Toyota Paseo or Cynos and is a must if you decide to turbo it.
Nicely modified, did you get a custom turbo setup or did you buy an online package.
I had my standard Cynos up to 193km/h down the Hauraki plains south-east of Auckland. Probably the best early 90's 1500 money can buy.
The day that a Paseo adds 30hp due to a highflow filter and exhaust is the day penguins fly.
