When I bought the car. I thought what a nice ride! I was Wrong. It was a bad ride! All 8 Years of it! The cars battery went out at 2000 miles. And then the brake cillanders went out shortly after. I kept going through brake pads and could not figure out why. I was going through brake pads once a month. And then the head gaskets blew and water pump went out at 5,000 miles. And then again at 8,000 miles. The transmission went out 5 times. The struts had to be replaced at 15,000 miles. And then the ball joints went out twice. Let me tell I babied this car and did not hot rod it. What a piece of junk! Finially sold to some kid for 1,000 dollar. And I told him good luck kid!!!
The car is not roomy and not comfortable. Not in town or the highway. The seats are very stiff and not comfy. More room in the trunk then in the back seat. Does not make sense. Gas was OK in it. Mileage on the highway was excellent. I could travel 300 miles on a 3rd of a tank if that. The car did handle nice and had some get up and go. Like the way it handled on the highway! Very fast and low very smooth. Nice car if you can get it to run!!! Mine was in the shop all the time!!!
I do not know what you are talking about because my avenger is perfect.
