What a good car this is. It can really shift when it gets going beating any kind of Saxo VTR. it's Well Kitted too, Alloys, Digital Climate Control, CD, CD Multi-changer, Cruise Control. It can Get to 60 MPH in 8.8 Secs and run on to around 128 MPH.
What planet do you live on?
When did 8.8 seconds to 60mph seem remotely fast?
And a top speed of 128mph? Again, not fast.
The Megane is a fantastic car, but fast it is not.
As a comparison.
1968 Sunbeam H120 could do the 0-60 in 10 seconds & up to 117mph.
1966 Humber Sceptre II did 0-60 in 12 seconds and topped out at 94mph even though it was about as aerodynamic as a housebrick.
While you can say the Renault cars are comfortable and smooth to drive they were never very quick.. unless you count the Biturbo Safrane & the various clios & meganes that Renault shoehorned their left over stocks of 3.0i six-pots. Those engines had been intended for the Vel Satis and Avantime cars.
By any chance are you two Saxo VTR owners lol. there no need to be snobbish.
