Nothing major. All minor.
Replaced the radiator at 96,000.
Have replaced the alternator twice.
Have always replaced the timing belt at each 75,000. Never had one to break.
Interior is like new. Keep a sheet over the backseat for the first ten years and it is like new.
The best car I have ever owned. I bought it brand new and I have gotten my money back several times over. I am still driving today and never worry about being left on the side of the road. My daughter will be driving it to school next year.
Ugh, GM put together? Got bad news for ya sunshine, while it's a truly stellar car (mine has 279000 miles on it) IT"S NOT A GM PRODUCT, IT"S A TOYOTA COROLLA with a geo emblem. That's right, it was built in Cali by United Motor Manufacting LTD, check yer door tag. Go try to by the haynes manual at borders for a 91 and they'll say see Toyota. Don't give credit where it isn't do.

I have go to agree with sean on that one becuase toyota does make the prizm well not any more, but still they made them, and you paid like what an extra $3000 just for the car while you could have just bought a toyota corolla and plus don't give chevy well gm the credit because they make s*@ty cars I know becasue I have had 6 of them and I am 22 and plus I have bought a focus when I was 17 and I have had it and nothing big has went wrong with it, I have 1994 geo prizm, a 1997 pontiac sunfire, 1999 saturn ion, 2001 grand prix, 2002 chevy impala, 1998 cavalier, and a 2004 grand am, and I can't never forget my 2000 ford focus and, I still have my focus today and it has over 175,000 miles on it and plus my geo has had like 295,000 on it and then I gave it to my cousin which it died at I think 335,000.
My 1997 pontiac had only 45,000 blown engine because the tranny slip and wouldn't go into gear on the interstate almost got killed by an 18 wheeler. the saturn had 145,000 and just wouldn't crank up. the grand prix wrecked it and totaled it I was only going 15 MPH and someone hit me in the back with a jeep which was only going 32 MPh according to the report, which is sad because what if I had someone in the backseat and they would be dead now, and going this slow what about if I would have gotten into a real wreck not a fender bender, my impala has been totaled too brakes fail rammed someone at 45 MPH because they pulled out in front of me and I didn't have any brakes, it was their fault anyways, but I was hurt badly and plus the impala and the grand prix is the same car just about, the 1998 cavalier was just a pos and I just got rid of it beucase the engine was messing up at only 18,000 and that is sad for a brand new car, I don't drive like a normal teenager I drive like 70 MPH, it is sad at how GM has made pieces of crap and try to sell it to the public, ford is safer, more relible, and plus did you know that most car accidents are with GM products which are at fualt, and plus they are the cars that most people get killed in, that is so sad, but just don't give GM the credit for saying that your toyota a geo that is built by them
