The truck stalled out a lot when I first got it.
Rear view mirror came loose.
Leather seats ripped on seem.
Wiper blades hit the hood.
The truck is showing signs of paint defects.
Door panel came loose.
The front end squeaks when going over bumps. This has been to the dealer twice for this already. They changed out the front sway bar bushings both times. The truck is going back again for the same problem.
This truck has very good acceleration and lots of power.
The seats are uncomfortable for long trips and the truck has some bad blind spots with the pillars.
Yeah, Agree with you 100%. Bought a new 2002 Dakota quad cab 4/4 straight from the factory. 5.9 auto. nothing, but problems since day one. not to mention the dealer just keeps trying to put things off. complained about, front end noises, unstable handling, whinny trans, defective mirrors, burning oil, so after the 60,000k was used up they told me I have 3 broken shocks, (unstable handling) now the transmission whines even louder than the first week I bought it, and it's heading for the 100,000. took it back for this problem a dozen times and told nothing could be found. the crunching noise left the front when the steering box blew a seal. was told this after the 60,00k also. e-mail bear@hotmail.com lemmon.
