I am on my 5th Honda product, my daughter has a Pilot fully loaded and it does have some features the MDX doesn't, but I think my MDX is sportier that her Pilot.
After driving a Honda Accord it is taking a little getting used to - I sit much higher and when I take a corner, I feel like it is going to lean too much and roll, but I am getting used to it.
I just wish I didn't have to use premium gas, but I love my MDX.
I owned a 2004 MDX and enjoys driving it.
A few disappointing notations:
Poor assembly:
Both the head lights and rear lights are assembled with irregular spacing.
Also the hood are not properly aligned. I checked a few at the dealership and all have the same defect.
Honda are known for their details and reliability. Don't lose it.
Paint was chipped and painted over (factory).
On a lighter note:
great handling, pleasure to drive, very useful navi.
Pleasant surprise on gas consumption on highways. Poor in city.
