"Very Reliable"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Had a misfire at 203,000 tune up fixed it A/C recharged 2 times 1st orignial R-12 witch never worked 2nd time convert to 134-A and it worked much better and every part on the car is original not kidding for the milege it has bolts that had the rear windows got loose due to poor roads in mexico Than other than that no problems.

General comments?

This van has been very realible which I'm amazed Its very roomy inside I rather go on vacation on this car went to portland from california were I live once and going to central mexico once a year I just added a rear spoiler with it looks more sporty new stereo and next month a tv with a dvd player I plan to drive it until it dies which will be a long while.

I will buy American when I stop seeing American made vans on the side of the road while I drive by in my 13 year old Previa...

I'm considering buying a 91 Previa with 207,000k.

Regular routine maintenance, interior is in poor condition, but the van seems to run good.

What kind of suggestion would you make for something like this as far as price goes?

And how long do you project your van to run for?

We have owned the 1991 previa for 7 years now we have a family of six... BEST CAR we have EVER had!!! Never has failed to start!! Has never left us stranded. It is really a great car now has 195,000 miles on it and will keep it till it gives out maybe by the time we are grandparents. Plenty of room with 4 kids in tow and all their gear. But what I love is I never have to worry... (priceless)

I live in Montreal, Canada and have a 1991 Toyota Previa 4wd. This model is rare as I have the standard 5 speed manual transmission. Teamed with the all wheel drive, this is definitely one of my favorite vehicles which I have owned. At close to 440 000 kms, this vehicle's engine keeps on working without burning an ounce of oil!

I love my Previa and would recommend it to anyone (especially with the manual tranny which gives better mileage than the more popular automatic) and shifts smoothly like a hot knife through butter. Too bad, that they did not combine the manual transmission to the later developed Supercharged version. It is a shame that Toyota does not continue to export this "Egg-Shaped Wonder" to North America, instead they have opted to join the main stream masses with the boring, trite-looking Sienna. Toyota Previa - What a feeling!!!

I have a 91 Previa I bought in 05 for $2100.00. It was the best money I ever spent!! I think the Previa is the best looking van out there!! I wish they continued this body style today! The power this 4-cyl has is totally un-believable, it just goes and goes... It now has 175000 miles and still going strong!!
