OK so lets get this straight, you had five transmissions repaired or replaced in less than 4000 miles. I hope you wern't paying for each one. And who was doing the repair work, trained monkeys from the near by circus? This survey just seems unreal, transmissions that last 300 miles and brakes that need replaced at every oil change. The only other reason that I can think of for this type of failure is abuse, neutral drop (who would in a minivan),burnouts (can it?),off road (yea right). I have owned many minivans 1993 Aerostar,98 Plymouth Grand Voyager, ans currently a 92 Plymouth Voyager 3.0 & 3 speed transmission (232,000miles),and none of them have had major problems like these. The Aerostar had to have the trans replaced at 175,000 miles, but that isn't too bad.
