Starter.
Rear end making a funny humming noise, I susspect bearings.
Loud banging noise from rear when I hit a bump, I suspect a broken barpin or bad bushing in shackle.
Misc stuff.
I purchased this 88 XJ Cherokee from a guy on ebay for $300.00 when I loved in Colorado. He only lived about 30 minutes away so I figured it was a great deal that I could make some money off of. Instead I wound up keeping the jeep. A few weeks after, my wife decided she wanted to move back to FL. So I did the usuall tune-up and the fluids. It had a hitch on it so we decided to pull a trailer behind it. On the way down I noticed the rear main seal leaking slightly and I had to jump start it a few times to get it to run. It alsom overheated one time due to a gooling flush connector breaking. Besides that it was a dream to drive. Now that I am in FL I am putting a ligt kit and some aggressive tires on it and plan on taking it off-road as much as possible.
That's what I did I bought one 3 days ago for $300 dollars. It runs awesome except for a few small things why do people sell for so low? I live in Louisiana.
I have also bought a jeep Ccherokee. It is a 1988, and has 314,000 kilometers on the vehicle. It cost $600 Canadian. It has new paint. It seems to be everything which a new vehicle owner could ask for. I have to repair only the horn, a bulb on the drivers side for signalling, and the high beam.
