What things have gone wrong with the car?

Things that have gone wrong with the car? Nothing! This car has been fantastic in every regard.

Previous car VR Berlina series II

136k - 170k. Problems? Ignition leads needed replacement as well as the battery. Other than that, that was a terrific car.

General comments?

I will only ever buy Holden. I think that the new Fords are a good car, but I will be sticking with the mighty lion! Having owned a VR and VT Berlina I only have good things to say about these great cars. Reliability, Performance (for a V6), Safety, features etc all to high standards.

My family and friends have had Commodores over the years and they agree. Fantastic cars.

Bad things about Commodores?? OK resale. But what do you expect with the huge amounts of them on the road. Lets face it they are the most popular car on our roads. So the boys (and girls) at Holden must be doing something right.

GO HOLDEN!

Regards one very happy Commodore owner!

I Totally agree with 100% of this Review!

These cars are great!

Commodores are the way!

I Bought a Dark Green 1998 Holden Berlina VT 3.8 V6 Automatic in may 2003 and has been a pleasure to own and a Joy to drive!

Some People say (specially Mitsubishi Magna owners and some Ford owners...) say that these cars are crap. I Strongly disagree.

After all, if it was Crap you wouldn't see so many at the Roads and Police and Taxi Drivers would never use a Crappy Car. Now wonder, that you see more Commodores at Police Forces than its Ford, Mitsubishi or Toyota rivals.

You probably more Commodores at the road then Hyundai Excels or even the Holden Barina.

LONG LIFE TO THE MIGHTY LION!!!

HOLDEN RULES!!!

P.S: Previous Car? Dark Blue 1996 Holden Commodore VS 3.8 V6 Automatic, ran very well during 2 Years of ownership, also it was a great car.

Hello...i just got from auction a late 1997 holden vt berlina with leather seats, 3 winow trip computer.its only done 104000 km and drives like a dream I have found no faults with it at all (apart from the -ABS- light somtimes comming on during shoert trips... a freind of mine works at summit holden in melb and he said it was more than likely dirty sencores... i have found it to be a dream of a car and way out beets most v6 japanese cars on the market (it don't sound like your driving down the road in a tin can like some japanese front wheel drive cars... to find this model with holden leather from the factory is a real treat as only calais and statesmans have the leather as standerd...it's a dream and the tundra mica paint seems to look a differant color in changing light...it came with gmh holden floor mats with the gmh lion embroided in to the front pair,,,,,,, it has the 3 button key lock with boot release I took it to get a rwc and it didn't need a thing at all... the meckanic put it on the hoist and complemented the car as being very very clean and never been involved in an accident... i have had it now for 3 weeks and done many trips in it... i have found nothing wrong with it at all it drives like a dream. is very very quiet on the road.. looks good, the air con is super cold and the climet controle works like a dream.. the radio sounds great and every body who has been in it for a drive remarks and praises its smooth drive and quietness... all up I would give my car a 8.3 out of 10 and I'm a very hard judge. with a few minore scratches from silly people at car parks... i have read a few peoples reviews in regard too bad holdens,I've had a vb sle (i got it brand new from gmh.I've had vk berlina, vl calais, vp berlina, and now the vt berlina with leather. I have had little problems with all my commodores and found them to be good cars for australian conditions... i will be the owner of holden cars for many years to come...I'm a happy holden man...

I just bought a vl Calais 1988 series II and has only done 123000 kilometres. I truely agree that Holdens are a very reliable car and will always be for up coming years, they have great designs and also a long lasting engine. My vl Calais runs very smoothly and I have not have no problems what so ever.
