1978 Lincoln Continental from Germany - Comments

"The greatest car I ever had in 40 years!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing.

General comments?

This car is extremely safe and comfortable.

It was a bit too slow for Germany (only about 165 km/h maximum).

The best was the braking system (4 dual-disk, anti-lock brakes with hydraulic - not vacuum - booster).

I have a 1978 lincoln mark v cartier edition and it is hands

down the best car ever made. nothing ever goes wrong with it.

If ford made a car like this now they would not only bury gm, but they would bury japan also. fix or repair daily, i don't think so!!!

I know, lincolns of the late seventies are THE best cars ever made. when I see the junk we have to drive around in now (hondas that destroy the motor when the timing belt goes) i shudder. new cars are corporate, throw away crap!!!
