Oil sending unit, rear main seal, suspension always squeaked, A/C drained into passenger compartment for quite a while.
Great design, crummy implementation. I love the size of the car, interior room, and it did well the one time I had it offroad. The build quality was lacking, and when the local Kia dealer closed, I took my mechanics advice and traded cars to keep my life simple.
I'm not being mean or calling you stupid, but Ford Festivas were built my Mazda. Ford owns most of Mazda. The Ford Aspire was the one built by Kia.
The Ford Festiva WAS built by Kia, as was the Ford Aspire. Mazda had nothing to do with either of them.
The car was developed and sold by the three marks as the Kia Pride, Ford Festiva, and the Mazda 121.
