"Something to try once"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Broken sway bar link.

Top is shot (why do they still make a vehicle where you HAVE to replace the top, and why is it $700?)

Mystery problem that randomly makes the Jeep buck and its not the TPS.

Other than that its pretty healthy.

General comments?

The first time I took it off road it threw an electrical fit.

Any kind of super swamper tire does not let you drive highway very easily and they make you get about 7 MPG.

I put some tasteful upgrades on the truck (stereo, TV, canyon wheels, thornbirds, real HID lights) and the ladies love the thing...that's why I still have it, but I will be parting ways with it soon.

I think it's a great vehicle for anyone who can put up with it. And if you live in a hilly area, don't get the 4 cylinder!

You put a TV in a Wrangler? Please tell me you lifted this Jeep and are not one of those who "pimp out" a Jeep.

I also had a problem with the jeep 'bucking' when it only had 20,000 miles on it. I took it to several local dealer service stations. After the last attempt, with replacing plugs, wires, etc. and getting high blood pressure, I found out it was a oxygen sensor! It has run good since.

Yes...I really "pimped it out"...moron. That's why it has Super Swamper tires that make it near impossible to deal with on a daily basis. And I also pimp it out with a fresh coat of mud whenever possible (even with the top and doors off!). And to the other guy with the comment... thanx for letting me know about the O2 sensor... no mechanic could figure it out. Much appreciated. Yes, this is a true Jeep and has lived a very rough life and rarely ever had its top or doors on because I live in S. Florida, so its gets rained in a lot.
