My ignition would not work due to communication problems between key and sensor.
Transmission would not shift out of second gear due to faulty sensor in transmission.
Rear windows will not work.
This vehicle is very well appointed and performance is good. When it is working properly that is. I have had problems with electrical and electronic issues since day one. Transmission problems have plagued me since approximately 85000 km. This problems is back as I type this and sensor was replaced less than three months ago.
I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana. I have loved it since day one except for the electrical problems. It now has 290,000km on it and I am having some sort of transmission problem. For some reason it will not shift into fourth and overdrive. I have taken it in to a few different shops and no repairs have been done. I know the mileage is extremely high so I assumed it would be the transmission, but so far that has not been the diagnosis. Any ideas??
