"You will never regret buy a Cadillac"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Since I have owned the car the problems I had are:

Replace the water pump and both radiator hoses (normal for any car) cost was 400.

Stereo speaker started shorting out and radio quit-- problem was capacitors in the circuit boards degraded due to age and had to be replaced on the boards, cost was 200 for the radio, 100 per

speaker.

Front passenger strut needs replacing, again this is just maintenance and not a faulty car. cost through dealer is quoted at 860 for the strut, install, and re alignment per strut.

Rear windows frequently decide not to work,

General comments?

I never thought I would ever drive a Cadillac. I have had 2 Lexus, 2 nfinity, a Jaguar, 2 Mercedes, a Sterling and almost every Japanese car ever made.

I never wanted a Cadillac because I wasn't 75 years old. I bought my first Seville because I need a cheap sedan (My last Mercedes was a bad car) so I bought a 1988 Seville. It drove so good I could not believe it. I had it for a year and the head gasket need replacing. I was told I would have to pay 1500 for the gasket, but I found the Seville I have now for only 4000 with only 85 K miles on it in perfect condition.

The car has been a dream to own, never breaks down, everything always works, is always comfortable, and drives really good in the snow (front wheel drive). Mileage is about 17 in city, 26 on Highway.

My only complaint is even if I buy a new one, it looks just like my 12 year old one, so why buy a new one? its the same body and almost the same interior.

I am only 35, but I will gladly drive my gram-pa car till it dies, and when it does, I will drive another. I guess the reason you see so many old people in them is that they have driven everything else, and they have realized that this is the best car in the world to drive.

My advice on buying one is buy a really good low mileage car in perfect condition because it is always cheaper to do this than buy a cheap car needing several thousand in repairs.

I had a 1992 Seville STS with over 175,000 miles on it.

It was a great car. Never had engine or tranny work.

I bought it used with 49,600 miles and had it 8 years.

Wish I had not sold it.

I have owned four cadillac's. I'm only 23. the one I have now is a 92 seville sts. It was a special edition model with different trim pieces and a couple of suspension mods. I have a huge sound system in the car. I also run flow master exhaust to give it a voice, high flow cats, chips, solid engine mounts, solid lifters. In addition to this it also rns only the best parts in the car. 173,000 miles and still looks better than any new car on the road.
