Air bag light flashing
Window falling off runner
It doesnt want to drive
I have only literally just bought this car and Im having problems with it 3 days after i bought it!
The air bag light flashes and stays on but i understand this is a problem with most peugeots!
The second day i had it the passenger window fell off the runner (trippy electrics).
And this morning it was being very sluggish and didnt want to go quicker than 60. Could this be the head gasket? If so my dream car is going to cost me a lot of bucks!
If you have any suggestions please let me know!
The problem with the airbag light coming on has happened with my 306. If you take it to a garage there is a sensor under the carpet behind the drivers seat that can be triggered by a bang and the garage should be able to reset it. Hope this suggestion helps.
We just purchased a 1998 306 that had just been in for airbag warning light malfunction. The problem was a bad wire connection under the seat.
Friend of mine has a 306 and the head gasket has blown twice, he's now on his 3rd engine (which is in fantastic condition) but as I say be careful the engines aren't that good.
