The serpentine belt has come off three times within the past year when driving with water on the road.
I believe this problem to be a design flaw and yet Dodge has not stepped up to claim responsibility and they should. Customer satisfaction should be a top priority as well as safety of the families who trust their vehicles.
I was happy to read that other's are having a problem with the belt coming off in wet weather as well. It has happened to me plenty of times and now we are looking for another vehicle, as we have a baby and this is a dangerous situation to put a baby in.
We live in Canada.
Thanks for sharing your information with us.
I have a Plymouth Voyager that had the same problem. I was able to fix it by replacing the belt tensioner. Over time the spring in the tensioner weakens.
There is a retrofit plate that bolts on to prevent the belt
from coming off... Help sells it the Dorman co.
