"Sharp clean looking vehicle, but poor workman ship"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

First the driverside taillight burned out to only find out it was a recall

Second the wipers were dragging in delay mode upon return to where they lay at when not in use, to find out it was a recall on the wiper motor due to a defect that water would leak into the motor and cause problems, another recall, Third rmp hand on the cluster panel clicked when the vehicle was running also a recall, and just this week, we were coming home and went to wash the windsheild, and the washer motor that sprays the fluid stuck! I even turned the vehicle off and it still ran, the fix, pull the fuse#8 but the dealer informed me that that hasn't been a recall yet... very very poor choice for a vehicle.

General comments?

Very bad choice for a vehicle, unless you plan on getting one to run off a cliff haha.

I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer I purchased used in 2003. A few months after I purchased it both of my tail lights went out. I found out there was a recall on the lights and took it in for the repair. In December of 2004 I returned to the shop to have the recall on the windshield wipers done. 6 months later my windshield washer would not stop shooting out fluid so I quickly removed the fuse while being soaked. 5days later my windshield wipers stopped working during a rain storm about 2 miles from my house (thank God). I took the cover off the area where the wiper motor is located and removed the plug for the wiper motor. Upon removing the plug I noticed that the prongs were rusted and had corrosive damage done to both the male and female ends.

The breathable seal installed during recall did not do its job and the inside was saturated with water. Although the wiper motor is a recall item, I the consumer am forced to repair faulty original equipment. I was quoted over $275.00 JUST FOR THE PART. After a few calls I found the part at bumper to bumper for about $140.00. (If the original is faulty why not use after market parts?). Do not go out and buy the motor unless you have looked at the degree of difficulty in installing it. I do intend to seek reimbursement. I almost forgot, my driver side rear window is held up by a plastic zip tie since the cable for the window motor is in one big knot and I refuse to pay for a small faulty motor that cost almost as much as the wiper motor. The ONE good thing I can say about the trailblazer is that I have lots of inside room even on the third row, but, what good is that if I have to keep repairing it or worse yet break down with my family in the car. As soon as I can I am going to trade and Chevy is not on my list. I feel my family's safety is worth being upside down.
