My car has had almost everything go wrong with it. My multifunction switch had to be replaced and my trunk wouldn't unlatch. About every 3 weeks I have to replace my spark plugs and my oxygen sensor has been replaced since I have had it. Currently speaking my car runs like poop. I have an exhaust leak, it reeks or gas inside, my strut's are broken, and I have no pick up speed. It takes along time to get up to 40mph and I don't even attempt to hop on the highway any more. I am a female, I know nothing bout cars and I am a student 1400miles from home with a pile of junk to rely on.
But other than that, everything is fine, eh?
From the sound of it, you may have a bad alternater or a bad fuel pump, try cleaning the fuel filter.
Sound like a core problem, this car should not be that much trouble.
That gas smell in the cabin could very well be related to a fuel rail issue these cars had. the 3.5L motor had an issue with the o rings on the rail going bad, and leaked fuel into the engine bay, also smelling up the inside.. it was a recall, get a free repair at a dealer.
Could lead to an engine fire if you don't get it taken care of.
You took a Chance on an old Junk and lost.
