Driver side window motor had to be replaced.
This truck causes you to get a lot of speeding tickets.
I bought my 2001 Extreme brand new and I must say after owning it for almost 5 years and 75k I'm very happy.
Oddly, I too had a problem with the driver-side power window, but that was about covered under warranty. I've been having problems again, but I actually think it the switch. I had the dealer replace the battery and the battery cable (while still under warranty) as well. I think the radiator vent near the battery terminal is a bad idea.
I've only had to replace the door handle once (on the third door) and that was after three years of use. Why don't they make a metal one?
The biggest adjustment to driving this truck was the air-dam. Not really driving, but parking. The Extreme version sits a little lower to the ground and after the having the air-dam strike the curb a few times I just started backing in to parking spaces.
At the 70k check-up I was informed I have a power steering leak. They're still tracing the leak. This was the first new vehicle I ever purchased and all told I'm very pleased.
