Still does not shift when cold into 4th gear when it gets to 40 should shift does not.
2000 kia sportage is not supposed to shift to 4th gear until the cooling sensor senses warm anti-freeze then it shifts. The kia sportage owner manual tells this, but it is hidden there. So warm up your Kia sportage first and it will be fine in cold weather.
2000 kia sportage Timing belt MUST be replaced at 60,000 miles.
Cost at dealer is $258.00 or $358.00 with water pump replacement. Price reasonable since I spent $550.00 on 1995 Mit. Galant for same thing.
