Power outlet did not work.
Brake rotors warped @ 10,000 miles.
Computer chip failed... resulting in having it towed, and waiting for 2 weeks.
Had to replace battery from leaving my lights on for about an hour.
Nice affordable car, but other outside factors may empty your wallet.
First costly item was insurance, because they said it's one of the "most stolen cars" (and the fact that I'm only 22). I ended up paying 340/mo. for insurance. Sure enough, my car was broken into, and ignition ripped out in an attempted theft. After paying $500 for my deductible, a month later it was stolen. This headache has taken over a month and I have no car. If you live in a metro area, go for something that's not a target for the thieves.
The brakes also warped pretty quick and made the whole car rattle every time I went to brake... and I only had it for 1 year (10,000) miles.
Nice car, but I don't think I want to go through the headache again.
Why would you replace the battery after leaving your headlights on? Simply re-charge the battery with a car battery charger.
When the insurance company told you that is was the most stolen car why didn't you put an alarm or ignition kill on it. Also why would you pay more in insurance than your car payment should have been.
