"Great auto. would love to restore it only with fuel injection"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Replaced the starer twice.

Replaced the transmission

Replaced all belts & hoses

Carburator serviced

replaced the brakes twice

replaced rear wheel bearings & seals

The air conditioner has just quit working.

General comments?

This car is very comfortable to drive.

Seats are comfortable & the upholstery is plush.

Love the way it's equipped.

Electric gas lid

Automatic head lights

Digital speedometer

Automatic park brake release.

My brother had an '83 and I am pretty sure it had throttle body injection. Are you sure yours had a carburetor? It was a long time ago, so I could be mistaken. The Marquis was an excellent car though. Too bad my brother totaled his. Thank God he and the other driver were OK; the car obviously was not. I would definitely consider a Marquis to run around in. It and the old Chevy Malibu (another excellent car) were one of the last 6 cylinder mid sized RWD cars you could get. That in and of itself is an extreme shame.
