Front rotors, brakes, 50% of the exhaust system, rear defroster, and clutch.
I knew when I bought the car that it needed some repairs. It was supposed to be a second car for my wife but I ended up driving it. I was amazed! This car drove, performed, and had better comfort than our 1997 Saturn SC1. I love this car, it is a blast to drive and the engine is wonderful when you push it over 6000 RPM. I taught my wife to drive it like it should be driven. She now regularly pushes it to the redline and blows away nearly everyone. My only concern is that the car will rust away before the engine dies.
I drool whenever I see a Type R "Yellow Please!"
Did you get an engine swap, cause factory '89 integra ls's are 1.6L.
I just recently got my license and my acura integra 89' ls is one of the fastest cars in my area. It has a cold air intake and pacesetter exhaust. I would advice anyone who desires a fast fun car to get one, but be careful it might be too much for you. Oh and heres a comment about the clutch problem my car has only had the car replaced one time in the Three years it has been in my families possession. If you treat it good it runs good, but it loves speed and can fly with any other riceburner.

True about the 1.6L to 1.8L, how did that happen? Also, whats a pacesetter exhaust like and how else can I mod my Teg?
I have a 1989 acura integra ls. I've put a cold air intake, pacesetter header, and magnaflow exhaust on it. The car stock has 118Hp. Everybody talks about how fast it is, but in reality, it's not that quick. I feel it's peek at about 6,000 rpms, but after that there's a big flat spot to the redline. Of course it's a 5 speed manual with a 1.6L DOHC engine. Anyway, feel free to comment on this entry.
Thanks.
To imporve your horsepower of your teg you can put magnaflow exhaust and a pacesetter header in it. Put a cold air intake in it. If you really want some power you're going to want to put some performance cams in it. For handling you should install a strut bar.
Lemme know what other performance questions you have!
