The starter motor went when I first purchased the car.
Other faults include
a broken bracket on the front drivers seat.
C.V bolt needed replacing.
Pistons on breaks became stiff.
However now I think the wheel bearing needs replacing! I get a squeaking noise when ever I coast round a left had bend. Any one got any ideas?
The faults above could all be expected with a car of its age.
Apart from that it has been a brilliant first car. Its 1.1 liter engine is quick (possibly due to the cars weight)
The interior is still in brilliant condition however the seats are to soft for my liking.
Space wise that car is limited, the front is a little cramped, but well laid out, the back seats will easily fit two children on, but nothing more. Good boot size though.
UPDATE.
I fixed the squeak, it was the suspension bush, but its just made a reappearance!
