"Pretty quick and very reliable"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Alternator had to be changed at 145,000 miles.

Some of the light bulbs keep burning.

I have the automatically retractable seat belts and the motor for the driver's side seat belt stopped working at 148,000 miles.

General comments?

I was surprised with how reliable this car is.

The car is actually pretty quick even with the 4-cylinder engine, but with manual transmission. I wish it had an tachometer.

At highway speeds in this car it feels like you're going way faster.

I have just got a ford tempo, but I had second thoughts about getting the car because I had wanted a car that I could put after market parts on it, but I had searched some pictures of tempos with after market parts like with body kits and and neon under kits and it looks good. so now that I know that this car will be good to modify I can't wait to get it to my home. I am having it shipped. anyway it will be nice to have a car that I can modify besides a civic because it will be different from what everyone else has, and being the same is not fun and setting up your car with after market parts is all about creativity not copying what others do. so I am glad there are others out there with tempos that feel how I do about mine.
