This car is built to last.
The bodywork is still without rust.
Acceleration is very good and remains good despite its age.
It's very economical @ 30 MPG urban - 40 MPG motorway.
The boot is huge!
Handling isn't the best and lets the side down.
Seat adjustment is adequate, loads of room in the back though.
You get 30 MPG urban? I get only 20-25 MPG. What's going on here?
I've just bought one as a backup car, what's wrong with the handling?
If it's a 2.5 then I agree to differ as I only get 20-25mpg. I do drive it pretty hard tho!
Absolutely nothing wrong with the handling. Very Predictable and stable. I guess that wee bit of roll pitching it into corners spooks some people perhaps? Don't be scared its quite normal, especially with an estate. Best advice use decent grippy tyres! Cheap hard things will make it want to go straight on in corners when pushed hard.
Over all a fantastic useful "Proper" car.
