Auto transmission, heater core, wipers, door handle, windows, brakes, alternator, battery
all went bad in the first 40,000 miles and now the heat won't work.
This car has been a problem, the looks and paint are very good, comfort of driving is very good.
The mechanical problems are just too much, it breaks down at least 2 times per year.
My 1999 GMC Jimmy SLT - heater stopped two different times.
Last year it quit because the heating coil was clogged with crap... this year it stopped because there was a leak - it has a shut off - if the water levels get too low. Might check all of those - hopefully you won't end up spending over 2 grand to fix - that is what mine has cost me the last 2 years. Worst vehicle I have ever own. No more GMC - Chevy's for me. JEEP all the way!
