This car has run well for me, and started every time.
I spilled a 500mL bottle of water on the passenger seat and it made a really ugly stain.
It's now -40C outside (that's equal to -40F?) with 4 feet of snow. This is not your winter car. It handles excellently with winter tires, but you have to scrape the ice from the inside of the windows, as well as the outside. It takes a LONG time to warm up, usually around 10 minutes. If you're looking for a winter car, this isn't it. It's every window, not just the front window.
This car is ALWAYS going to run for you, and starts for me every time. But when it gets cold? Get yourself a new battery!
Look, this is a good car, as long as it does't drop below freezing. It handles well in deep snow, it speeds up quick, and it'll ALWAYS start for you. I'd buy another if I could! Get this car, it's worth the trouble. Take it easy!
Well, folks, it's good that I wrote I'd buy another one if I could! After a poor experience with the dealer (it turns out that everything in front of the driver is actually a 2nd car) I'm returning the car and heading right back out to find another Esteem!
Given that my car was in a major accident, maybe give some thought that the accident may have contributed to some of the things that went wrong that I wrote!
