I take it your referring to the honda vti engine or possibly the 1.6 type r engine? well your clearly very ignorant to the world of japanese motoring because in 92 mitsubishi made the mivec colt with 183bhp which is proven quicker than the type r, and for a fraction the price.
Also for the same money as a glxi the honda/ toyota equivalent are slower and less bhp, you may as well say 'o, but an an evo has more power than a fiat uno 1lt ie '
