My Accent has been in and out of the shop every year since I owned it about 5 times a year. The dash had also cracked even though I use a dash cover, a window shade. At the dealers the mechanics never seem to be able to fix the problems.
I also owned this car. At 120 K miles replaced the transmission. Although it never quite worked correctly even after the new tranny (dealer replaced.
Dashboard also cracked severely, brake wear very easily,
expensive to replace and or turn rotors.
Interior door handles break easily, and window knobs, and stereo knobs.
Very good gas mileage even with bad tranny.
New radiator, thermo and fan all very easy to fix and not a problem until well into the mid 130K miles.
Impressed with car until 165K repairs for 2nd tranny...
Did not repair car junked at 170K.
