Rear defogger had 3 lines that did not work. Had dealer replace it, but the work was sent out to a glass shop that made a mess of the car. Molding trim that went from the base of the front windshield, over the roof, and down to the bottom of the rear glass had to be replaced twice due to the poor installation job of the rear window.
V-6 is definitely the way to go in this car. The 4-cylinder was a dog and almost couldn't get out of it's own way when I had one as a loaner car.
Mash the gas and prepare for take off! Some torque steer from the 195 HP jumping to the fairly light front end.
Comfortable seats make for a smooth ride, although road noise is easily noticed on the rougher surfaces.
Me and my dad were ganna pay for a 2001 Galant es one that gone 40k only for around 5 grand. I was afraid since jdpower gave it two stars reliability. Anywho, we test drove it and it was really slow a@@ much slower than the 96 taurus we had. I told him to floor it and he said he was. The interior was very small and cheapy. The look pretty femenine to me too like most girly japanese cars. Insread we got a huge 200hp 94 Caddy for 2 grand and it's better than that pos we test drove in all areas except fuel economy.
