60 ish mpg so I get at least 500 miles from a £25 tank of diesel. AMAZING. Very quiet inside as well. Can't go that quick round corners though as the suspension can't handle it. you'll need to change down to third on steep hills and it doesn't have much grunt, but fine on the motorway at 75mph. Cheap tax and insurance.
I was in a 106 with a 1.5 diesel engine, and it sounded strained at 60, on the motorway I could see that it was going flat out at 70, with only 2 adults and 2 kids in it, I don't think it's a car designed for the motorway, at 70 it felt like it was about to explode, and add to that the overly soft suspension and light weight, it got blown about by the wind terribly, I think it's unsafe for motorway use - I was certainly continually scared in it... that said, you cannot argue with 60 MPG, so probably good for students or city drivers just people who are more brave than me!
