Check engine light comes on frequently. I have not yet found the cause the problem.
Runs well and smooth otherwise.
So far I have had no problems.
Why would give it a bad rating when this vehicle has not given you a bad experience the check engine light you can check by buying the computer engine code check or take it to a mechanic reason is some of us some times we only look at how many unhappy faces there is on a vehicle review to see if this vehicle is a bad choice..
We had a Leganza for five years. It was a great car until it hit 130,000 miles and then it was all downhill. The water pump went out and we had a hard time replacing the part. Once we did, it went out again. Then it developed an oil leak. Then the windshield wiper motor failed and the mechanic could not find a replacement. The oil leak was beyond repair as no mechanic in my region could locate the correct part, and besides that, what parts could be had were too expensive to purchase. It was a fantastic car, but if you have one and it hits 130,000 miles, watch out.
I own a 2001 Daewoo Leganza make sure you check and change the timing belt a year ago mine broke and cost me 2200 to get the top end of the engine replaced. Now I think the camshaft is messed up all I know is it is parked I'm trying to sell it and not going to get another for sure It only has 100,000 miles on it.
