The car has been really good except for an after market alarm that kept draining the battery, but this alarm has now been re-installed properly.
The seat belt restraint is uncomfortable as it feels like it is strangling me, but I feel I may have to look at the tensioner.
This car is my second Firebird, the first being a 1984 5 speed manual Trans Am & it is like driving a different car in the fact the handling is more pleasurable.
The interior is the leather option which is very nice & comfortable.
The general cockpit styling is more refined & unless you have a leather upholstered Recaro 84 option the seats in the GTA are a world apart from the 84 Trans Am.
The GTA is super super fast & has that V8 rumble you always want to hear without being too obtrusive.
Please accept this correction: The engine in the Firebird
is not a 350 cubic centimeter. It's a 350 cubic inch unit.
